Job Summary
The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing all procurement and supply chain activities related to fit‑out projects, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, subcontractors, and services at competitive costs while meeting quality, authority, and project requirements. The role supports smooth project execution through effective vendor management, cost control, and strategic procurement planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement for fit‑out projects including interiors, joinery, MEP, finishes, FF\&E, and specialist subcontract packages
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and company objectives
- Source, evaluate, and appoint suppliers and subcontractors in compliance with approved specifications and authority requirements
- Lead tendering processes including RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiations, contract awards, and purchase orders
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, and delivery schedules to achieve cost optimization
- Coordinate closely with project managers, design teams, site teams, and commercial departments to align procurement schedules with construction programs
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality compliance, and resolve procurement‑related issues
- Ensure procurement activities comply with contractual obligations, company policies, and ethical standards
- Manage material approvals, samples, submittals, and logistics planning including lead times and site delivery coordination
- Track procurement budgets, cost variations, and prepare regular procurement and cost reports for management
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors
Required Skills \& Competencies
- Strong knowledge of fit‑out materials, finishes, joinery, FF\&E, and local supply markets
- Excellent negotiation, cost control, and commercial management skills
- Sound understanding of contracts, procurement procedures, and authority approvals
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and reporting skills
Qualifications \& Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 8–15 years of procurement experience within fit‑out, interior contracting, or construction
- Proven experience managing procurement for commercial, hospitality, retail, government, or luxury residential projects
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office
