Your Mission
This role serves as a key business partner and primary contact for the North East Asia (NEA) sub-region, engaging in discussions and preparation for sub-regional strategy and budget presentations and accountable for overall Richemont Functions Financial control.
Additionally, Regional Controller works as a dedicated function controller covering APAC entities, with a primary focus on the annual budget, rolling forecasts, long-term strategic plans, and investment requests. This role collaborates with regional function heads and market controllers to drive the success of the function, encompassing financial planning, KPI management, resource allocation optimization, investment prioritization, and commercial management support.
This position reports to the Head of FP\&A - Richemont Functions (Corporate Functions), APAC, while also providing diligent support to the Business Leadership Team and NEA Stakeholders.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Collaborate with budget owners to prepare the latest estimate and annual budget, ensuring valid assumptions and feasibility for execution.
- Partner with functional stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee budget system uploading and Masterfile maintenance, streamlining processes and developing user-friendly templates for enhanced efficiency.
- Monitor spending trends across markets, analyze budget and forecast deviations, and ensure cost forecast integrity.
- Perform insightful analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making, including leading investment case studies for Support Functions.
- Develop templates for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budget consolidation, and presentations.
- Lead process and report automation initiatives.
- Participate in ad hoc projects to improve functional efficiency and effectiveness.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Possess a university degree from a reputable tertiary institution.
- Bring at least 8 years of experience in Controlling/FP\&A.
- Experience in a matrix organization is highly valued, with retail industry experience as an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in managing complex, high-volume data and building templates for reporting and consolidation.
- Be highly process-oriented, systematic in approach, and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Show high learning agility, capable of thriving in fast-changing and dynamic market conditions.
- Possess strong stakeholder management abilities with a spirit of constructive partnership and a collaborative mindset.
