Web Developer

Location

This position will reside in Bend, Oregon

Summary

We’re looking for a front-end web development engineer to help us design and develop the next generation of features for applications. You will work with a cross-functional team through all stages of the software development lifecycle and play a critical role in building modern, scalable solutions for our customers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with JavaScript and demonstrated knowledge of the fundamentals of the language
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML, and CSS
• Professional experience using React
• Experience working with a state management tool, like Redux
• Cross platform/device/browser experience; Windows/OSX and Edge/Chrome/Firefox/Safari

Mobile/Desktop

• Experience with responsive web design and a keen eye for aesthetics and good UX design
• Development of easy-to-use, scalable, robust, high volume interactive web applications
• A passion for maintainable systems and software

Desired/Bonus Skills

• Experience with Express, Node.js, Material-UI, Webpack, Next.js, writing tests, Jest and Enzyme, Accessibility, TDD and functional programming
• Understanding of Imperative vs Declarative code
• Knowledge of SOLID design principles
• Experience with data structures, databases and making visualizations
• Familiarity with commonly used Redux middleware
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Experience in tracking conversion and usability metrics in UX workflows
• Creation of mobile experience (IOS/Android) scalable solutions for customers
• Can identify and address performance bottlenecks in a production environment
• Experience managing SDKs leveraged by customer third party integrations
• Experience with Auth0
