Position Overview
MYLK Collective is seeking a strategic, creative, and highly organized Senior Social Media Strategist \& Content Creator to lead social media strategy and execution for a portfolio of hospitality, lifestyle, travel, wellness, and consumer brands.
This role combines strategy, hands-on content creation, and client leadership. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing and executing comprehensive content strategies, presenting recommendations to clients, directing content shoots, creating short-form video, crafting engaging written content, and analyzing performance.
As a day-to-day client lead, you will oversee content strategy, community engagement, platform growth, and social media performance while collaborating closely with PR, influencer, and brand strategy teams to deliver impactful, integrated campaigns that drive meaningful results.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead social media strategy and execution across a portfolio of hospitality, lifestyle, wellness, travel, and consumer brands, developing annual, quarterly, and monthly plans aligned with client goals.
- Create and oversee high-quality content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, including content capture, creative direction, copywriting, short-form video editing, and shoot production.
- Manage day-to-day account performance, including content calendars, publishing schedules, community management, audience growth initiatives, and platform optimization.
- Identify and execute opportunities for influencer partnerships, creator collaborations, brand partnerships, and culturally relevant content that drives engagement and brand awareness.
- Analyze performance metrics, track KPIs, deliver monthly reporting, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve results.
- Serve as a client-facing leader while collaborating closely with PR, influencer, events, and account teams, mentoring junior team members and helping shape agency processes and creative standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7\+ years of social media marketing experience, preferably in an agency environment
- Proven experience developing strategy and managing client relationships
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
- Exceptional content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills
- Experience managing content production from concept through execution
- Strong analytical skills with experience using platform insights and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Based in Austin, TX
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, travel, wellness, or lifestyle experience
- Paid social campaign management experience
- Influencer marketing experience
- Experience leading client-facing presentations
- Existing Austin hospitality and creator network
- Experience with influencer partnerships, creator management, and user-generated content (UGC) strategies preferred.
- Basic camera/photography skills
