Professional Summary:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for consolidating, validating, and transforming data to support operational reporting and business decision‑making. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to work with large datasets from multiple sources. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically adept, and comfortable producing accurate reports in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate data from multiple sources using functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, and XLOOKUP.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and error identification to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly reports, including KPI tracking dashboards and PivotTables.
- Transform raw data into structured, actionable formats for internal stakeholders.
- Support ad‑hoc analysis and troubleshoot discrepancies across datasets.
Required Skills \& Tools
- Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIF/COUNTIF, and data formatting.
- Strong competency in data manipulation, including working with large multi‑tab or multi‑workbook datasets.
- Technical aptitude with relational databases, SQL queries (e.g., joins), and basic familiarity with Python, Power Query, Tableau, and Jira.
Job Requirements
Demonstrated experience using VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, SUMIF/COUNTIF, and other advanced Excel functions.
Ability to perform data mining, data cleansing, and validation using Excel‑based lookup tools.
Must‑have skills: Advanced Excel, specifically VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
