Chief Executive Officer

Prospera Executive is undertaking an Operating Partner / CEO search on behalf of a lower middle market healthcare private equity fund with a strong track record of building multi-site platforms from scratch.

The fund has recently closed an oversubscribed vehicle and has completed multiple platform investments to date, generating strong realised returns across several exits. The incoming executive will join first as Operating Partner, working directly with the investment team to shape the thesis and stand up the business, before stepping into the CEO role as the platform takes shape.

The Role

This is a true greenfield build. The incoming executive will be the operational architect of a new healthcare services platform, from site one through to a scaled, exit-ready business.

Core priorities:

• Partner with the fund on vertical selection, market entry strategy, and platform design ahead of the first investment
• Lead de novo site development, from location selection and clinical staffing to systems, compliance, and go-to-market
• Build the corporate infrastructure: RCM, finance, HR, marketing, and call centre functions, centralised from the outset
• Drive organic growth through new site openings, same-site revenue growth, and ancillary service line development
• Identify and integrate add-on acquisitions alongside the fund's investment team
• Hire and develop the management team as the platform scales

Strong candidates will have:

• Demonstrated experience building a multi-site healthcare platform from zero, de novo or greenfield experience is the defining criterion
• Comfort operating without an established infrastructure, this executive builds the machine, not inherits one
• Track record of scaling a healthcare services business across multiple geographies and clinical settings
• Prior experience working alongside a private equity sponsor in a platform CEO or Operating Partner capacity
• Deep understanding of the operational levers that drive performance in multi-site healthcare: clinical staffing, RCM, site economics, and patient volume growth

The vertical is open. The fund invests exclusively in healthcare services and has built and exited platforms across a range of specialties.
