Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations, inventory control, and warehouse management. This role involves leading a team to ensure efficient movement of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and optimizing transportation processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to compliance, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Oversee transportation scheduling, routing, and delivery timelines while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and carriers.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records through routine cycle counts and physical audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient material handling procedures.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control processes to minimize waste and shrinkage.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze freight costs and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Support operational goals by performing additional duties as needed.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory operations.
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Strong proficiency in inventory management tools and systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
