We are seeking an experienced
Residential Roofing Superintendent
to oversee roofing crews and manage projects in the Fort Myers area. This role is responsible for
crew leadership, scheduling, safety, quality control, and coordination with General Contractors and homeowners.
This is a
hands-on field leadership role
for someone who understands residential roofing systems and can keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews, laborers, and subcontractors
- Dispatch crews daily and monitor jobsite progress
- Perform regular jobsite inspections to ensure quality workmanship
- Maintain a
2-week look-ahead schedule
and coordinate material deliveries
- Identify and troubleshoot
roof leaks and repair issues
- Ensure all jobs meet
company safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Communicate regularly with
General Contractors, homeowners, and project managers
- Inspect completed work and approve dispatches for payroll
- Monitor labor and materials to keep projects on budget
Schedule
- Monday β Friday (typically
6:00 AM start
)
- Dispatch crews by
7:00 AM
- Inspect crews by
8:00 AM

Weekend on-call rotation
approximately every 3β6 weeks
Requirements
β’
2β3 years of experience as a Roofing Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of
residential roofing systems (tile, shingle, repairs)
- Ability to
identify and troubleshoot roof leaks
- Ability to read
blueprints and job specifications
- Experience working with
General Contractors and residential construction teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Basic computer skills (
Excel and Word
)

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Valid Florida Driverβs License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift
50\+ lbs
- Ability to respond to
occasional after-hours or warranty calls

OSHA 30 certification required within first 90 days
