Job Description
At Unmade, we create brands for companies that are changing how the world works. Our clients span a wide range of categories, representing some of the most exciting businesses in the tech and eCommerce space.
We embody the best things about startup culture. We are self-starters who build things from scratch, move fast, and raise the bar on everything we ship.
We’re looking for a
Senior Project Manager
to oversee eCommerce projects, primarily built on Shopify, for some of our most valued clients. This person will own timelines, align internal teams, and ensure flawless delivery from kickoff to go-live.
What you’ll work on
- Shopify and Shopify Plus builds, migrations, and customizations for growing DTC and enterprise brands.
- Custom product configurators, bundle builders, and checkout flow optimizations.
- CRO engagements: conversion audits, A/B test coordination, and landing page optimizations for Mexican and US clients.
Who you Are:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, acting as the day-to-day bridge between Unmade and the client.
- Own the successful delivery of new builds, redesigns, and site enhancements, on time and on budget.
- Define detailed scopes of work for eCommerce projects.
- Manage tasks across design, development, and QA teams using
ClickUp
as your primary hub, with deep proficiency in its automations, custom fields, dashboards, dependencies, and templates.
- Lead client meetings, communicate clearly, and translate technical constraints into actionable plans.
- Manage teams through all phases: wireframes, design, development, QA, launch, and post-launch.
- Monitor project health and proactively surface blockers before they become problems.
- Coordinate post-launch maintenance, feature releases, and client hand-offs including documentation and training.
- Lead and mentor a team of two Project Managers, setting the standard for how work is scoped, tracked, and delivered across all client accounts.
- Set standards for how projects are structured, documented, and delivered across the agency.
Shopify-Specific Responabilites
- Lead production of Shopify and Shopify Plus websites, from theme architecture to third-party app integrations.
- Collaborate with design and dev teams on custom features: product configurators, bundles, checkout flows, subscriptions, and more.
- Coordinate technical integrations and track dependencies across the Shopify stack.
- Understand Shopify’s ecosystem deeply enough to identify constraints, evaluate tradeoffs, and advise clients without needing to escalate every technical question.
- Review deliverables for functional accuracy, mobile responsiveness, and alignment with client expectations.
- Participate in QA: validating cart behavior, variant logic, discount rules, and transactional flows.
- Coordinate client hand-offs, documentation, and basic training after launch when needed.
- Coordinate CRO engagements: manage timelines and deliverables for conversion audits, A/B tests, and optimization sprints, ensuring findings and results are communicated clearly to clients.
What we're looking for
- 5\+ years of experience in project or account management within a digital, tech, or web agency.
- 3\+ years of hands-on experience managing Shopify store builds, migrations, or customizations. You understand the platform, not just the process.
- Familiarity with CRO methodologies: you know what a test hypothesis is, how an audit is structured, and how to communicate results to a non-technical client.
- Advanced ClickUp proficiency:
you know how to set up spaces, manage automations, build dashboards, and get a team to actually use it correctly.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in a professional context. You actively look for ways to automate repetitive work and improve team output.
- Strong grasp of eCommerce UX best practices and key site functionalities.
- Experience with Figma, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Meta Pixel, and common eCommerce tools.
- Comfortable working in a bilingual environment. Client calls, briefs, and deliverables regularly happen in both Spanish and English.
- Excellent communication skills. You can run a client call and write a technical brief in the same afternoon.
Compensation:
💰
$34,000–$36,000 MXN
, depending on experience \+ benefits.
