Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a Vp, Chief Technology Officer to join the team of a leader in the Finance \& Insurance space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.

Location: Addison, TX - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $300,000 – $440,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Lead the modernization of core insurance platforms and technology ecosystem
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership in technology to enhance customer experiences
  • Assess and develop IT talent to ensure capability and fit for purpose
  • Influence business outcomes with a forward-thinking technology vision
  • Optimize operating models to meet cost and quality service goals
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement across technology operations
  • Challenge existing processes to influence positive change and transformation

Qualifications

  • 20\+ years of IT experience, including 10\+ years in leadership roles within life insurance and annuities
  • Proven track record of major technology transformations and cloud-based environments
  • Expertise in digital solutions that challenge traditional practices
  • Significant experience managing vendor relationships and diverse technology teams
  • Strong financial management skills with a history of cost improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences
  • Ability to coach and develop future leaders within the organization
