Logistics & Operations Optimization Manager

Role Overview

Structure, standardize and accelerate the onboarding process for clients and their assets (watches, jewellery, collectibles, etc.) to secure operational workflows and deliver a premium client experience at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

INDUSTRIALIZATION \& FLOW

• Design and deploy a standardized workflow covering intake, photography, authentication and storage.
• Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and oversee their implementation on the floor.
• Map and eliminate bottlenecks, unnecessary handling steps and friction points.
• Define and track performance KPIs; produce regular operational reporting.

PHOTOGRAPHY \& DIGITIZATION

• Oversee industrial and automated photography systems; ensure consistent quality and throughput.
• Integrate traceability tools (QR codes, DAM, AI) into the processing pipeline.
• Coordinate with technical teams on tool development and maintenance.

TEAM MANAGEMENT \& TRAINING

• Lead logistics, photography, authentication and inventory teams.
• Train staff on quality, security and confidentiality standards specific to the luxury environment.
• Manage scheduling and resource allocation based on operational load.

QUALITY \& COMPLIANCE

• Ensure full traceability of every item, from intake to storage.
• Maintain documentary compliance and conduct systematic quality controls.

Candidate Profile

Education

:

Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management or equivalent.

Experience

:

5–10 years in logistics or industrial operations. Background in luxury, watchmaking, jewellery, art handling or premium e-commerce is a strong plus.
