Headline Inc. is a multi-faceted production group based in Denver, Colorado, focused on connecting brands and audiences through high-level live experiences. We produce music festivals, outdoor concerts, automotive events, action sports, and brand activations, from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions.

The Role

This is a full-time, on-site A1 role. You'll plan, deploy, tune, operate, and strike our Meyer Sound systems for everything from corporate functions and brand activations to outdoor concerts and festivals with over 25,000 attendees. You'll lead the audio crew, mix FOH and monitors when needed, and coordinate with production, lighting, and video teams. You'll also troubleshoot in real time, maintain our audio gear, and help with pre-production, sound checks, and post-event reviews.

Qualifications

• 5\+ years as an A1 or systems engineer on outdoor shows or festivals

• Hands-on experience with Meyer Sound line arrays and Galileo/Compass, or comparable systems

• System design, tuning, and measurement (Smaart or similar)

• Live mixing on digital consoles, plus networked audio (Dante or similar) and RF/wireless management

• Strong microphone technique for speech and music

• Comfortable reading plots, stage plans, and production documents

• Experience leading and scheduling A2s and stagehands

• Safety-first on site, with rigging awareness and familiarity with noise ordinances and SPL monitoring

• Able to lift and transport equipment and work evenings and weekends

• Formal audio training or certification is a plus

Compensation \& Benefits

• Salary: $70,000-$90,000, based on experience
