Job Description

Onsite Technical Engineer is a client facing, continuous onsite presence. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining software and hardware at the client site. Your Job is to ensure the clients technological needs are supported onsite, while ensuring communication is kept up between you, the client and Savant.

List of Responsibilities

  • Manage \& maintain on-site IT services for our client, maintaining a professional and knowledgeable appearance.
  • Conduct systems analysis and design/development of endpoint management programs and OS level configurations to meet documented specifications; consulting with users to define functional requirements.
  • Oversee technical activities and issues, address/troubleshoot client technical requests, ensuring your reporting and workflow is done accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with Remote Services when there are lapses in the schedule
  • Manage technical requests and adhere to proper documentation in Connectwise to reflect your work. Maintain high standards of details when documenting tickets.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in our systems, as well as ensuring that any existing documentation is correct. Recommend improvements to reduce ticket volume.
  • Communicate, and report to your leadership on everything that is a problem or may become a problem in the future.
  • Work with internal teams to help upgrade and gather information to better support your client. Develop and enforce client IT policies and lead risk assessments.
  • Assist with the client’s needs for hardware, advising and quoting replacements and software where necessary, and troubleshooting and assisting with vendor installations where needed.
  • Develop and enforce client IT policies and perform risk assessments. Design and maintain Intune/AD/Azure policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required

  • 5\+ years of IT support experience or fast-paced environment required.
  • GED or high school equivalent required. Some college preferred.
  • Written and verbal communication skills as well as detail-oriented
  • Adaptability, and flexibility throughout any given day.
  • Technical experience: Office 365 apps, Active Directory, Azure, Unifi Systems Management, Microsoft, Apple, Chrome.

Other skills: Computer hardware and software configuration knowledge, Knowledge of data center infrastructure: power, cooling \& facilities management, Computer processes and continuous process improvement. Knowledge of HIPAA Compliance data security.

Pay: $67,000\.00 - $85,000\.00 per year
