Melco is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager (Order Fulfillment \& sales Administration) to join our management team. This is an onsite role working at our headquarters in Westminster, CO.

Job Summary

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of our order fulfillment and sales administration operations. This role ensures that customer orders are processed accurately, fulfilled efficiently, and delivered on time while maintaining strong coordination between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success.

The Business Operations Manager will oversee the warehouse and sales administration teams, manage the order-to-delivery workflow, and drive operational discipline in our internal systems and processes. This is a player-coach role: part strategist, part execution leader, part executioner, perfect for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment \& Operational Execution

  • Own the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from order entry through shipment and delivery.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately, configured correctly, and fulfilled on time.
  • Coordinate logistics, shipping, and delivery scheduling.
  • Monitor backlog and proactively resolve fulfillment bottlenecks.
  • Maintain operational visibility into order status and delivery timelines.

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and efficient inventory handling procedures.
  • Improve warehouse workflows to support efficient fulfillment and reduced cycle times.
  • Ensure proper handling of machines, parts, and accessories.

Purchasing / Sourcing

  • Process purchasing operations for all needed products and materials.
  • Plan, organize, manage, and control activities related to the procurement functions.
  • Maintain optimized inventory levels while minimizing back orders.
  • Manage all purchasing activities and related support for Engineering during product development projects.

Sales Administration Leadership

  • Manage the Sales Administration / Order Management team.
  • Oversee quote-to-order conversion and order entry into internal systems.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy, product configuration accuracy, and clean order documentation.
  • Maintain strong coordination with the Sales team to ensure smooth order processing.

Process \& Systems Management

  • Maintain accurate and reliable workflows within CRM and ERP systems.
  • ·Improve order management processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fulfillment and order management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational scalability.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the operational bridge between Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Product Engineering.
  • Resolve operational issues that impact customer delivery or internal execution.
  • Cross-functional process optimization.
  • Support internal communication regarding order status, inventory availability, and delivery timelines.

Performance Monitoring

Track and improve key operational metrics such as:

  • Order accuracy
  • On-time shipment and delivery
  • Order cycle time
  • Backlog aging
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Fulfillment efficiency

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, sales operations, logistics, or business operations
  • Experience managing transactional operational teams (order management, warehouse, support, or similar)
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems

Preferred Experience:

  • Distribution, manufacturing, or industrial technology environments
  • Process improvement initiatives
