About the Role

The Director of Sales, Full-Service Lodging (FSL) is a quota-carrying, growth-driving leader responsible for expanding Pressed Juicery’s presence across full-service hotels, resorts, and upscale lifestyle lodging brands. This role opens new doors, designs pilots that convert, and scales profitable multi-property rollouts across management companies, ownership groups, and brand-level programs.

This role begins as a Hunter position (90/10) - focused on prospecting, pitching, piloting, and closing new hotel groups and flagship properties. As the business matures, it will transition toward 70/30 Hunter/Farmer, with expanded accountability for strategic portfolio growth, program adoption across managed and franchised properties, and long-term chain account development.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership \& Growth

  • Own the full-service lodging growth plan and quota across lifestyle, resort, convention, and premium hotel brands; deliver multimillion-dollar new revenue.
  • Maintain 3× pipeline coverage with disciplined stage definitions (prospecting → discovery → pilot → expansion → rollout).
  • Present insight-driven recommendations that elevate decision quality for hotel culinary, F\&B, wellness, procurement, and brand teams.
  • Protect deal economics within guardrails; partner closely with Finance on pricing, rebates, and program structure.
  • Demonstrate disciplined follow-through, structured communication, and proactive problem-solving to remove roadblocks and accelerate deals.

Account Development \& Partnerships

  • Prospect, pitch, and close top hotel operators, ownership groups, and brand-level decision makers.
  • Navigate complex organizational structures, including corporate F\&B, brand ops, procurement, wellness teams, and property-level leadership.
  • Build trusted relationships at the Director/VP level; flex communication style to match stakeholder sophistication and decision path.
  • Represent Pressed with exceptional preparation and polish at industry events, partner conferences, and on-property showcases.
  • Bridge communication between corporate decision makers and property-level operators using clear, scalable handoff processes that drive adoption.

Pilot Design \& Rollout Execution

  • Design and lead structured pilots (typically 8–12 weeks) with defined KPIs: velocity, waste, sell-through, merchandising compliance, sampling calendars, and success thresholds.
  • Identify risks early and provide clear, executable operational solutions to ensure pilots convert to broader expansion.
  • Scale proven programs into multi-region or multi-brand rollouts, including training, POS/in-room collateral, merchandising, and operational launch kits.
  • Partner with hotel F\&B leaders to optimize menu placement, grab-and-go positioning, wellness offerings, and program compliance.

Distribution \& Operational Readiness

  • Activate distribution lanes across broadline, regional DSD, and cold-chain partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to validate operational feasibility, including pack-outs, storage, labor, and throughput.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and decisively, bringing forward informed solutions grounded in operational reality.
  • Strengthen reliability by aligning chain requirements with distributor and operator capabilities, ensuring consistent supply and flawless launch execution.

Forecasting, CRM Discipline \& Internal Collaboration

  • Drive forecast accuracy using pilot performance, property-level orders, chain-wide trends, and distributor insights.
  • Maintain CRM discipline, ensuring accurate stage progression and clean pipeline hygiene.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop co-marketing opportunities, wellness activations, LTOs, and brand stories that enhance hotel partner positioning.
  • Model clarity, accountability, and structured communication across all internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 8\+ years of food \& beverage or wellness CPG sales experience; 5\+ years selling into full-service lodging or large-format hospitality accounts.
  • Proven track record securing multi-property hotel partnerships or brand-approved programs.
  • Existing relationships within major hotel groups, ownership companies, or upscale lifestyle hospitality brands strongly preferred.
  • At least two multi-region or national hospitality wins scaled in the last 3–5 years.
  • Fluency in foodservice operations: procurement structures, REITS, MCOs, GPOs, distributor systems, and property-level implementation.
  • Data-driven seller who sets velocity targets, monitors waste, reads P\&Ls, and protects margin.
  • Solution-oriented, proactive problem solver with strong follow-through.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) with excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
