Carpenter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks. This role requires physical stamina, punctuality, and the ability to work with various tools effectively in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of various types of building materials.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks including molding installation and cabinetry work.
• Execute remodeling projects by assessing existing structures and determining necessary modifications.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
• Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications.
• Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including subcontractors for integrated projects.

Skills

• Proficient in carpentry with attention to detail.
• Experience with heavy lifting; ability to lift significant weights safely.
• Knowledge of roofing systems and installation practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with various tools and materials used in carpentry work.
• Ability to execute projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Competence in ensuring structures are plumb and level throughout the construction process.
