Job Description
We are focused on building a high-tech platform that enables the delivery and management of remote and hybrid care. This role will play a critical part in designing and developing the systems that power seamless integrations, intelligent communication, and scalable healthcare workflows.
This is a high-impact role with significant ownership over architecture, performance, and product outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- 8–10 years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend development and system design expertise
- Experience with healthcare integrations (EHR/EMR)
- Proficiency with APIs, webhooks, and distributed systems
- Experience building applications using LLMs
- Frontend experience with React and exposure to mobile development
- Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers
What We’re Looking For
Core Experience
- 5–8\+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven track record building and shipping full-stack applications in production
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects end-to-end
Backend \& Data
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, or similar)
- Experience designing data models and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Proficiency in backend development (Python, Node.js, or similar)
- Experience building scalable APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, etc.)
Frontend
- Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar)
- Ability to build production-grade dashboards and data-driven interfaces
- Experience managing asynchronous data flows, state, and performance
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., Recharts, D3) is a plus
Cloud \& Infrastructure
- Experience working with AWS (S3, Redshift, Lambda, or similar services)
- Understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, and cost tradeoffs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
Product \& UX Thinking
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, user-friendly interfaces
- Strong intuition for building intuitive and accessible user experiences
- Experience working closely with product and design teams
Healthcare (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7)
- Experience working with sensitive data and regulated environments (HIPAA)
