Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for performing day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance. This role supports both employees and management to ensure HR policies are implemented effectively and contribute to a positive and productive workplace.

We are going through a phase of rapid growth, and plan to double the size of the team over the next 12 months. You will be critical to the ongoing success of the Human Resources operations as we continue this trajectory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer employee lifecycle processes: recruitment, onboarding, orientation, offboarding.
  • Handle employee relations issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR policies, employee development, and compliance.
  • Support performance review processes and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and wellness programs.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly HR reports, metrics, and documentation.
  • Lead team meetings to discuss opportunities.
  • Believe in Continuous Improvement initiatives: Every month should be more efficient/effective than the last.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 7\+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with HR software (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
