Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Supply Chain Manager for a mission-driven manufacturing organization. This full-time onsite opportunity is based in Dallas, Texas and requires approximately 50% travel.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Supply Chain Manager will provide strategic leadership across purchasing, inventory management, production control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee supply chain performance, optimize processes, and strengthen vendor partnerships while leading cross-functional initiatives that support organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with experience managing complex supply networks and driving operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee production planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, and shipping/receiving functions
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, cost performance, and service delivery
- Build and manage relationships with domestic and global suppliers, including contract negotiation and implementation
- Establish and utilize metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering collaboration across departments
- Manage multiple projects and operational priorities to support organizational objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Experience leading supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment, including purchasing, inventory, and production functions
- Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships, contracts, and global sourcing initiatives
- Strong leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and supply chain certifications are preferred
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers a salary of approximately $115,000-$130,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, FSA plans, company-paid life insurance, an exceptional 401(k) program, paid holidays, PTO, vacation time, and tuition reimbursement.
