About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ML Engineer specializing in Computer Vision to join our remote team. In this role, you will work on confidential, high-impact projects that leverage the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and computer vision. Your expertise will contribute to developing innovative algorithms and models that enable computers to interpret and understand visual data at a level never before achieved. The ideal candidate will be creatively analytical, curious, and fearless in tackling big problems, with a passion for building intelligent systems that can see, analyze, and interpret images and videos with unprecedented accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning theory
• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience or equivalent in computer vision
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C, C\+\+, or Java
• Experience with image classification, segmentation, or captioning
• Knowledge of and experience with image/video processing tools such as PIL/Pillow, GraphicsMagick, FFmpeg, OpenCV, SimpleCV
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, Theano, MLLib, or Torch
• Strong understanding of modern deep learning techniques in CV, including convolutional networks, residual networks, and attentional models
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computational Linguistics
• Experience with parallel computing technologies such as OpenMP, CUDA, OpenACC, MPI
• Experience with big data and distributed computing platforms like Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Storm
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in more than one programming language is a plus
