Location: New York, NY \| Hybrid \| Reports to: Global Creative Director

Overview

:

The Designer supports the growth of Grown Alchemist across North America by delivering high-quality creative across campaign, ecommerce, retail, and marketing channels. This role ensures the brand’s philosophy of plant-based, bio-tech skincare and wellbeing is expressed with clarity and consistency while adapting thoughtfully for regional needs and commerce environments.

Working closely with the Global Creative Director, Senior Designer, and regional marketing teams, the Designer brings global concepts to life locally, while maintaining the premium aesthetic and strategic positioning of the brand.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Application \& Governance:

Ensure consistent application of the global visual identity across regional marketing outputs.

  • Applying the brand’s visual language consistently across all regional channels
  • Maintaining the premium aesthetic through strong typography, layout, and image treatment
  • Acting as a regional brand guardian, ensuring all executions align with global guidelines
  • Supporting regional teams in applying brand guidelines effectively
  • Reviewing regional assets where required to maintain brand consistency

Campaign Rollout \& Creative Development:

Support the development and rollout of regional campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling initiatives.

  • Translating marketing briefs into clear visual concepts and design solutions
  • Creating campaign assets across social, paid media, email, web, and retail formats
  • Ensuring creative assets are visually strong, brand-aligned, and ready for market deployment
  • Supporting seasonal trade moments, product launches, and marketing initiatives

eCommerce \& Digital Commerce Design:

Support the brand’s growth within ecommerce and digital commerce environments.

  • Designing product storytelling assets for ecommerce and brand websites
  • Creating digital shelf and marketplace assets for retail partners
  • Designing performance creative for paid media and digital marketing
  • Supporting visual optimization of product pages and online brand experiences
  • Ensuring assets are optimized for digital platforms and mobile environments

Creative Systems, Templates \& Toolkits:

Help scale creative production by developing reusable design systems and templates.

  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of design systems
  • Creating modular templates for social media, ecommerce, email, and marketing formats
  • Supporting the creation of campaign toolkits that enable regional teams
  • Improving production efficiency through repeatable creative frameworks
  • Helping streamline asset production and localization workflows

Retail, POS \& Physical Brand Touchpoints:

Support the development of physical brand experiences across retail environments.

  • Designing retail graphics and POS materials
  • Supporting visual merchandising assets
  • Adapting campaign creative for retail displays and store activations
  • Ensuring consistency between physical retail and digital brand experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with teams across the organization to deliver effective creative work.

  • Partnering with marketing teams to interpret briefs and deliver creative solutions
  • Collaborating with product teams to support launches and storytelling
  • Aligning closely with the Global Creative Director and Senior Designer
  • Supporting external agencies or production partners when required
  • Follow design review and approval processes to ensure brand consistency

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 4 years of relevant experience - preferably in the beauty space.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects, while maintaining quality.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self‑motivated – identify opportunities to improve creative output
  • Constructive and collaborative approach to feedback
  • Confidence working with cross-functional teams

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong typography, layout, and composition skills
  • Competency in tools such as Adobe and Figma
  • Experience designing across digital, ecommerce, and retail channels and understanding digital asset production and platform specifications
  • Ability to prepare artwork for both digital and print applications
  • Strong understanding of premium brand design- Results‑driven.
  • Understanding of how brand storytelling translates across channels

COMPENSATION \& BENEFITS
