About the mission

Our client ,a key player in the Belgian \& European energy sector, is at the heart of the energy transition. They ensure the reliability and sustainability of the electricity supply and are scaling their Agile transformation to support this ambition.

You will join their Agile Chapter (\~60 FTE) alongside internal staff and other contingent workers to help build a sustainable, green and reliable energy infrastructure.

Your role

We are looking for a true Scrum Master that will support 5 teams with varying maturity levels, helping them embrace continuous improvement and enabling stronger collaboration across the organisation.

Your responsibilities:

  • Integrate and coach 5 Agile teams, improving their ways of working and culture
  • Facilitate over solving and adapt to needs rather than applying frameworks "by the book"
  • Foster the right mindset and behaviours at individual, team and organisational levels
  • Collect and leverage delivery metrics, team health and customer satisfaction data to drive evidence-based improvement
  • Participate in Agile Chapter events (approx. 2 days/month)
  • Commit to stable teams for at least 6 months (no team-hopping)

Must-have requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience as SM in at least 2–3 different teams (bonus: across multiple companies)
  • Deep ownership of the Agile mindset (values and principles) — for yourself and others
  • Mastery of several Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban…) with the flexibility to adapt
  • Strong virtual and physical facilitation skills
  • Ability to work fully independently while staying aligned with chapter goals
  • Passion for metrics and evidence-based development
  • Ability to give positive and constructive feedback
  • Languages: English (mandatory) \+ French or Dutch (fluent)

Nice to have

  • Scrum Master experience outside IT contexts
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking methods and tools
  • Knowledge of UX design/development frameworks

Practical info

  • Onsite: 2 days/week in Brussels (default)
  • Occasional travel to Berlin may be required

Why this mission?

  • Contribute to a flagship project at the forefront of the European energy transition
  • Work in a culture that values innovation, collaboration and well-being
  • Join a diverse and passionate team
