About the Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing cutting-edge trading software solutions for our client's Direct Market Services \& Solutions desk. If you are driven by your ability to create robust, real-time systems for fast-moving markets, you will thrive in this environment. From inception to delivery, you will take full ownership of algorithmic systems, working closely with traders and global teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support low-latency trading systems and related tools.
• Collaborate with traders to understand and implement trading strategies.
• Analyze system performance and continuously optimize solutions.
• Adapt and enhance tools for the U.S. electronic trading business.
• Stay informed about industry trends, including algo development and market microstructure.
• Collaborate globally with algo development teams and liaise across infrastructure and support teams.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in C# for real-time, asynchronous, and performance-sensitive coding.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Understanding of distributed computing, memory profiling, and debugging.
• Exposure to Python, Agile methodologies, and performance testing.
• Experience with trading algorithms, strategies, and exchange connectivity is a plus.
