Job Description

Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Edina, MN

Salary: $70-80K plus bonus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the first point of contact for routine employee and manager questions related to policies, benefits, onboarding, leave administration, and HR procedures
  • Manage recruiting and staffing logistics
  • Coordinate drug testing
  • Provide onboarding materials, orientation, new hire set-up
  • Maintain all employee personnel files, HR records, and HRIS data to ensure records remain accurate, complete, and current
  • Administer day-to-day Benefit Plan processes, including enrollments, changes, employee communications, invoice coordination, and support during Open Enrollment
  • Record and track FMLA, STD, Workers Compensation, ESST, vacation, and other leave or time away from work in coordination with payroll, managers, and outside administrators
  • File Workers Compensation 1st Report of Injury to insurance carriers for processing and complete all subsequent follow-up paperwork that supports the claim
  • Coordinate annual compliance-related filings and recordkeeping support
  • Work with the 401k/Retirement Plan Administrator

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of practical and relevant Human Resources experience, with strong hands-on responsibility for HR operations
  • Experience working in HR at a manufacturing company
  • Full Cycle Recruiting
  • FMLA administration
  • MN employment laws and policy understanding.
