Software Engineer (iOS)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated iOS Developer to join our mobile engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of iOS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver reliable and scalable mobile solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain iOS and iPadOS applications and components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineers
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Implement new features and improve existing functionality
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
• Stay updated with new iOS frameworks, tools, and best practices
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills \& Experience

• Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree
• 2\+ years of experience developing iOS or iPadOS applications
• Strong knowledge of Swift or Objective-C
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and networking
• Experience working with the iOS SDK and Xcode
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Knowledge of UI design principles and responsive layouts
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, collaborative startup environment
• Basic understanding of machine learning or AI concepts and their application in software products
• Must be proficient in data structures and data manipulation
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English

Desired Skills \& Experience

• Experience integrating AI/ML models or AI-based APIs into applications
• Capable of providing detailed analysis of identified issues
• Experience with SwiftUI
• Familiarity with MVC or other iOS architecture patterns
• Knowledge of Foundation and other common iOS libraries
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments
