We're looking for an all-round Talent \& HR Manager

About the Role
Predikt is scaling fast, and we can no longer handle talent on the side. We need someone to own it. As our first Talent \& HR Manager, you'll build and run the full people lifecycle — from finding great candidates to making sure they thrive once they're in the door.
This role is genuinely all-round: you'll set up our recruiting engine, run onboarding, maintain and evolve our growth plans, and lay the groundwork for compensation \& benefits as we grow. You'll work directly with the founders \& Chief of Staff and have real autonomy to shape how Predikt attracts, hires, and develops its people. If you're the type who loves ticking things off a list AND building the system behind it, you'll fit right in.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruiting
: set up and manage our ATS, write job descriptions, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage the pipeline for multiple open roles simultaneously.
- Run structured onboarding
: design and execute an onboarding process that gets new hires up to speed quickly, feeling welcomed, and set up for success from day one.
- Maintain and execute growth plans
: keep individual development plans up to date, support managers in running meaningful growth conversations, and ensure follow-through on development commitments. Over time, build out a broader learning \& development framework — think structured career paths, internal knowledge sharing and programmes that help our people grow as fast as the company does.
- Build the compensation \& benefits foundation
: over time, design and roll out a total rewards framework that helps us attract and retain top talent as we scale — think cafeteria/flex plans, bonus structures, salary benchmarking, and benefits that actually matter to people.
- Own people operations
: handle the day-to-day HR backbone — contracts, onboarding admin, compliance and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
- Act as an HR business partner to the team
: be a trusted advisor to managers and founders on people topics — org design, performance conversations, team dynamics, and anything that helps Predikt build and maintain a great place to work.
- Improve how we work
: spot friction in our people processes and fix it — we're not looking for someone who manages the status quo, but someone who keeps making it better.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a talent, HR or people operations role, ideally at a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
- Hands-on recruiting experience: you've run full recruitment cycles independently and are comfortable sourcing, not just posting and waiting.
- Familiarity with ATS tooling — setting one up from scratch is a big plus.
- Experience designing or running onboarding programmes.
- Strong organizational skills and a bias for action — you make things happen without being told twice.
- Excellent communicator: clear, direct, and trusted by both candidates and colleagues.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with compensation \& benefits structuring, or familiarity with cafeteria/flexible benefits plans.
- Background in HR business partnering or people development, not just recruitment.
- Experience building HR processes from scratch in an early-stage company.
- Familiarity with Belgian employment law and HR compliance.
