Job Description
Job Title: MERN Stack Developer (MongoDB / ExpressJS / ReactJS / NodeJS)
Location: United States — Onsite / Hybrid / Remote
Employment Type: W2 · Full-time · All immigration statuses accepted
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Develop responsive, high-performance, and user-friendly UI components using React.js (Hooks, Functional Components, Redux/Context API).
- Implement end-to-end solutions using the MERN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS).
- Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL/relational databases; design schemas, indexes, and optimize queries.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, Passport.js, or third-party identity providers.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress, etc.).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, or similar tools.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
