Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to support and drive people operations within a growing, field-based organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in blue-collar environments and can own the HR function end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, policy administration, performance management, and compliance
- Lead or support recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and talent development initiatives
- Oversee or assist with payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies and labor regulations
- Help build, improve, and scale HR programs, processes, and employee experience initiatives
- Serve as a trusted resource for field employees, supervisors, and leadership teams
- Process weekly payroll
Ideal Background:
- 3\+ years of progressive experience in HR, HRBP, HR Generalist, or People Operations
- Experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, oil \& gas, utilities, or other field-heavy environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations
- Paycom experience is a plus
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organization
