Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Marketing Specialist to join our Sales Operation Team. You will work closely with sales, partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact programs across retail, digital, and events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of ownership, demonstrate the ability to move with urgency, be able to handle the dynamic nature of a high-growth startup, and have creativity around how to promote Velotric Bikes' products and brands.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Retail Marketing Execution \& Enablement
- Guide and support dealers/partners in executing brand retail marketing plans, including new product launches, seasonal promotions, test ride events, etc., ensuring high-quality implementation at the store level.
- Manage the distribution and installation of brand retail materials (POP/POS displays, brochures, digital content, etc.), monitor consistency of brand image across stores, and enhance visual impact at the point of sale.
- Design and promote "Best Practice" templates to help dealers optimize product display, customer flow, and sales pitches, thereby increasing conversion rates.
- Plan and coordinate regional consumer engagement activities (such as community rides, store open days) to strengthen local brand presence.
2\. Dealer Growth Support / Dealer Success
- Sales Support: Provide dealers with sales toolkits, product training, competitive analysis, and customer insights to boost their sales team's expertise and confidence.
- Marketing Support: Assist dealers in developing localized marketing strategies to maximize local promotion effectiveness.
- Financial Support: Collaborate with finance teams to ensure clear communication and timely fulfillment of dealer incentive programs and rebate policies, enhancing dealers' financial health.
- Regularly assess dealer health, identify high-potential and underperforming stores, and develop personalized growth plans.
3\. Brand Compliance \& Execution
- Act as the "guardian" of the brand at the retail level by regularly visiting stores or using digital tools to check on brand execution (display, materials, service processes).
- Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to ensure all dealers adhere to Brand Retail Standards.
- Collect frontline market feedback (customer voices, competitor dynamics, dealer suggestions) to inform internal product and strategy optimizations.
4\. Data \& Relationship Management
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs): including store sales, event participation, brand material usage rate, customer satisfaction, etc.
- Establish and maintain long-term trusting relationships with key dealers, becoming a trusted business partner.
- Organize online/offline training sessions and regional summits for dealers to reinforce brand connections and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications \& Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, or related fields.
- Work Experience: Over 3 years of experience in B2B channel support, dealer management, retail operations, or brand management. Preference given to those with backgrounds in durable goods industries (e.g., bicycles, outdoor, automotive, home appliances).
- Location: Must reside within the United States and have legal work authorization, capable of traveling to designated areas for dealer visits.
Core Competencies:
- Profound understanding of retail sales \& marketing; experience managing Co-op Marketing and Digital Marketing projects is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and influence skills, adept at cross-level collaboration (from store sales personnel to dealer owners).
- Strong project execution and multitasking abilities, ensuring attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic data analysis capabilities, proficient in using Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM systems (like Salesforce) for data tracking and reporting.
- Deep understanding of retail environments and customer experiences, possessing a "customer-centric" mindset.
- Self-driven, capable of working independently, adaptable to frequent remote collaborations and travel.
- Familiarity with electric bikes or cycling culture is a plus.
