📍 Monday–Friday \| Fully Onsite Orlando or Apopka

We are seeking an experienced

Physician Advisor

to serve as a strategic clinical leader driving Utilization Management, denial prevention, and Length of Stay optimization. This high-impact role bridges clinical care and hospital operations, partnering with physicians, executive leadership, and payers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct utilization reviews across inpatient, outpatient, and observation stays

• Authorize inpatient days and analyze utilization trends

• Intervene on payer denials and collaborate on reconsiderations

• Lead Length of Stay (LOS) reduction and throughput initiatives

• Partner with Case Management and UM teams to reduce avoidable days

• Educate medical staff on documentation, regulatory updates, and UM best practices

• Serve as a subject matter expert on UM Committee activities

• Use data and denial trends to influence provider practice patterns

Required Qualifications

• MD with active Florida licensure

• Graduate of accredited medical school and residency program

• 5\+ years of recent clinical practice

• 3\+ years of Physician Advisor experience
