Software Architect

We’re looking for a Software Architect with strong technical leadership skills to take ownership of a core application suite in the financial services space. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic oversight — ideal for someone who’s led development teams, managed large-scale consumer sites, and thrives on solving complex problems in data-driven environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead design, development, and ongoing support for a suite of high-availability applications in the consumer lending space.
• Own the technical roadmap for your domain — ensuring systems remain reliable, scalable, and secure.
• Manage large-scale consumer-facing systems with complex data integrations.
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, DevOps, and data teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices around architecture, performance, and maintainability.

EXPERIENCE

• Extensive hands-on expertise with Python, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and data analysis tools and workflows.
• 10\+ years in a leadership role overseeing ongoing development, support, and maintenance of multiple applications.
• Proven experience running large-scale, high-traffic consumer websites with complex, data-driven integrations.
• Solid understanding of modern deployment, CI/CD, and monitoring practices.
• Strong communicator who can bridge technical details and business needs.
