About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Enterprise Applications Developer
to support the
Land Use and Environment Group (LUEG)
for the County of San Diego. This role focuses on enhancing enterprise applications, building workflows and integrations, and delivering high‑quality solutions across the County’s technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on experience with
Accela
,
SSRS
, and
ASP.NET/.NET
development.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to Accela development, including scripting, configuration, workflows, permissions, and module enhancements
- Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports, including complex datasets and business logic
- Build and support ASP.NET/.NET applications, integrations, services, and APIs
- Collaborate with County IT staff, Peraton teams, and external vendors on integrated solutions
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and application architecture discussions
- Update configurations, scripts, and technical components to align with evolving business needs
- Troubleshoot Accela and .NET application issues and perform root‑cause analysis
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for workflows, integrations, and enhancements
- Recommend scalable, cost‑effective improvements to systems and business processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience with JavaScript
- Hands‑on experience with Accela development or configuration (scripting, workflows, modules, permissions)
- Experience developing applications using ASP.NET/.NET
- Strong SQL skills, including development and maintenance of SSRS reports
- Experience working in enterprise Windows Server environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and relational database concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced .NET development experience, including integrations or middleware
- Experience supporting Accela in government or large enterprise environments
- Experience converting T‑SQL to MS‑SQL
- Background in application testing and validation
- Exposure to AWS (infrastructure, services, or integrations)
- Prior experience with ServiceNow
