About the role

As Head of Digital \& E-commerce you are responsible for driving Vida Glow’s global digital growth strategy across all direct-to-consumer and digital retail touchpoints. This role oversees the full E-commerce ecosystem—including our branded website, online marketplaces, and pure players—ensuring seamless execution to reach brand KPIs, sales and profitability targets

In parallel, the role leads the development and execution of integrated digital marketing strategies, harnessing performance channels, CRM, and innovative campaigns to acquire, engage, and retain customers globally. With two direct reports, this position plays a pivotal role in building a high-performing digital function, aligning with Vida Glow’s ambitious growth agenda.

This role is focused on the following major deliverables:

E-commerce Management

  • Own and manage all E-commerce channels including Vida Glow’s D2C website, marketplaces, and pure players.
  • Deliver against revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Oversee trading, merchandising, promotions, and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure seamless site functionality, customer journey optimisation, and UX best practices.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure product availability, on-time fulfilment, and service excellence.
  • Lead development of Amazon AUS, US and UK.
  • Manage Pure player relationships to execute business \& brand goals including strategy reviews, promotional plans \& investment strategy.
  • Maintain CO-OP and Trade investment budget inline with business goals \& KPIs.

Digital Marketing Strategy \& Execution

  • Lead the development of digital marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive traffic, conversion, and retention.
  • Oversee performance marketing, SEO/SEM, CRM.
  • Identify optimisation opportunities for digital marketing performance to drive consumer acquisition and conversion.
  • Mangement of campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube with the support of a Digital Agency, understanding account and campaign setup, audience targeting, ad creative development, and budget management.
  • Ensure campaigns are data-driven, performance-focused, and aligned with brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Brand Marketing teams to deliver impactful content across all digital platforms.
  • Drive innovation in digital engagement, testing emerging channels and tools to maintain competitive edge.

Leadership \& Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Digital Marketing Executive and E-commerce Manager, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Creative, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • Report on channel performance, ROI, and customer insights to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to annual budget planning and ongoing forecast management.

Required Knowledge \& Experience

  • 9\+ years’ experience managing acquisition and retention strategies leveraging paid media, CRM, and Affiliates.
  • Experience in managing or developing Pure player trading relationship or marketplaces.
  • Experience in building brands across Digital Marketing and/or e-commerce in UK \& US preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • Confident using Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok and YouTube platforms.
  • Experience in the online retail industry is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in delivering reports/dashboards showing online channels performance with actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of success in driving results through digital marketing initiatives in an in-house role.
  • Results focused with proven strategies implemented to increase traffic and sales.
  • Clear understanding of the eCommerce ecosystem and platforms (Shopify knowledge is highly regarded)
  • Experience in Affiliate networks management advantageous.
  • Tech Savvy and constantly on top of the latest ecommerce and digital advertising trends and features
  • You are a gun trouble shooter with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage external partners.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business growth through digital channels.
