Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Publications Analyst to join our Proposals and Reports organization. As a publication coordinator, you will support the creation of high-quality proposals, help manage the end-to-end publications process, and assist with document preparation. This role supports proposal teams and requires on-site support in Redondo Beach, CA.
Job Summary

This entry-level position blends foundational project management skills with hands-on word processing support and occasional graphics creation. As an Associate Publications Analyst, you will:
- Coordinate timelines, resources, and communications to ensure smooth production of documents from start to finish
- Track project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders
- Manage document versions and maintain organized repositories of project materials
- Prepare and format text documents using established templates and basic formatting tools, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear organization of content
- Learn and follow established P\&R guidelines to create professional, compliant documents, including proofreading and preparing content for final delivery
- Assist with simple graphics or visual elements to enhance publication quality, working closely with experienced graphic designers as needed
- Collaborate across departments to gather content, approvals, and feedback
- Receive regular feedback and guidance from supervisors or senior team members to support your professional growth
Candidates should have a background in desktop publishing, marketing communications, graphic design, or a related field (coursework or practical experience is acceptable). Attention to detail and customer satisfaction is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and possess strong project and time management skills.
Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or related field
- Basic understanding of layout, composition, and design principles
- Ability to work overtime/weekends (as needed)
- Comfortable with word processing software (e.g., MS Word) and basic graphic tools (e.g., MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Illustrator)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to support and/or lead within a team environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and SCI program access
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications

- Active DoD Secret or SCI clearance
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other relevant tools)
Experience creating clean visuals, knowledge of general layout practices, or putting together basic presentation slides are a plus
Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000\.00 - $94,600\.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
