🚨 AI Engineer \| New York \| Front Office Financial Markets

One of the more interesting AI opportunities I've seen this year.

A major global financial markets firm is building a new AI Solutions function and is hiring one of its first AI Engineers in New York.

This is not a research role and it is not an innovation lab.

You'll sit directly alongside front-office professionals, understand how they work, identify inefficiencies, and build production-grade AI solutions that become embedded within critical business workflows.

Key areas include:

• LLMs \& Agentic AI

• AI Workflow Automation

• Research \& Decision Support

• Front Office Technology

• Production Engineering

• Python Development

• AI Governance \& Deployment

The team is intentionally small and highly visible. The mandate is to prove that AI can be delivered safely into production and drive measurable business outcomes, not simply create prototypes.

We're particularly interested in individuals who can bridge the gap between business problems and engineering solutions.

Backgrounds could include:

✓ Trading Technology

✓ Financial Markets Technology

✓ Workflow Automation Platforms

✓ Enterprise AI Solutions

Strong Python experience is essential.

Financial markets experience is advantageous but not mandatory if you've worked closely with end users and have a track record of delivering production AI solutions.

Location: New York

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 base \+ bonus

This is one of the first hires into the function and offers the opportunity to help shape how the team evolves.
