Lead Data Architect

The Talent Source has partnered with a PE backed firm in the search for a

Databricks Architect

to lead the design and execution of a modern data platform that powers enterprise-wide analytics and AI initiatives.

This is a

high-impact, hands-on leadership role

for someone who thrives at the intersection of

architecture, engineering, and business value creation

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build a

scalable Databricks Lakehouse platform

to unify data across multiple systems (ERP, CRM, field operations, IoT, etc.)

• Lead the design of

end-to-end data pipelines (ELT/ETL)

leveraging

Databricks, Spark, and cloud-native services

• Partner with business and technology leaders to deliver

real-time insights, advanced analytics, and AI/ML use cases

• Establish

data governance, quality, and MDM frameworks

to ensure trusted enterprise data

• Roll up your sleeves—this is a

player-coach role

, actively contributing to architecture, code, and implementation

• Build and mentor a high-performing data engineering and analytics team

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a

Lead Architect capacity

, with strong hands-on technical depth

• Deep expertise in

Databricks

, including

Delta Lake, Spark, and Lakehouse architecture

• Experience integrating data across

multiple ERP and SaaS platforms

• Strong background in

data modeling, pipeline design, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS)

• Track record of delivering

business-impacting data \& AI solutions

in complex, multi-entity environments

• Ability to communicate effectively with

executive stakeholders and translate data into business value
