Job Description

Role: UX Designer

2 days a week onsite in Charlotte, NC

Fulltime

Responsibilities:

Deeply understand the vision and objectives of company’s software product concepts, capabilities \& features.

  • Break complex product specific problems down to its simple parts, uncover the logical inter-relationships between them and infer or discover new UX requirements from existing facts
  • Conduct competitive and market research relevant to the UX requirements
  • Propose and sketch a range of modern visual concepts using both paper and software applications
  • Create user personas, user journeys and site maps
  • Translate concepts into living and breathing wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and user flows using specialist tools such as the Adobe product suite, considering the human-computer interaction (HCI) elements of a design
  • Incorporate visual brand identity into the product by creating seamless navigation, layout menus, drop-down options, colors, fonts, etc
  • Develop cross-platform applications to create user experiences that are responsive and optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, then iterate to deliver the perfect experience
  • Work with the UX research team to plan and conduct user research and usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and engagement
  • Keep up to date with UX innovations, trends, and tools.
  • Collaborate with other designers, product design and development teams, business analysts, engineers, and project managers
  • Liaise regularly with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure that designs meet their requirements and core business objectives.
  • Write reports and communicate the results of your work
  • Prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently on-time, on-budget, and on-objectives.

  • Self-Motivation \& Urgency Recognition: Recognize need of the hour and shift focus to deliver the critical artifacts at the right time with the right quality to the right stakeholder without resistance by performing multiple tasks simultaneously by efficiently managing time \& resources in a proactive self-motivated way
