Position:
Journeyman TIG Welder
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $25\.00 - $30\.00\+ /hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time

What You'll Do:
- Perform advanced
TIG, Orbital Welding, and Brazing
on stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and Inconel
- Weld
thin-wall materials
to strict quality and NDT standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
- Inspect completed welds and perform repairs as needed
- Execute proper fit-up, purging, grinding, polishing, and weld finishing processes
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet project requirements
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

What You Need to Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a welding apprenticeship or certified welding program
- 5\+ years of professional welding experience
- Experience performing
TIG and Orbital welding
- Ability to weld
thin-wall
stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and Inconel
- Strong blueprint reading and weld symbol interpretation skills
- Ability to pass applicable welding certification tests
- Eligibility to work on ITAR-regulated projects
The Musts:
- Advanced TIG welding experience
on thin material
- Experience welding aerospace-quality components
- Strong fit-up and purge techniques
- Ability to work independently and maintain high quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety
Preferred:
- Aerospace welding experience
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Knowledge of welding codes, standards, and quality requirements
- Additional welding certifications
- Experience with advanced welding systems and equipment
