Monument Builder

Job Summary

Central Monument is the largest monument company in the Ark-La-Tex. We have been in business for over 75 years. We are not a funeral home; you will not have anything to do with funerals. You will be in our shop loading and unloading granite, engraving granite, proofreading, and producing monuments. You will have very little, if any interaction with customers.

Our staff is very friendly, helpful and honest. It is important to us to have a great work environment.

We are looking for a person that is willing to learn. You will work with experienced Monument Builders to learn how to build and install custom monuments. After the apprenticeship, you will be able to earn up to $50,000\.00 depending on your production. This is a great career opportunity, we do not have down seasons or layoffs.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have a valid driver's license, be able to read a tape measure, work both indoors and outdoors. Have dependable transportation to be at work on time Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Benefits

Paid holidays start after 90 days. A week paid vacation after a year. Two weeks paid vacation after 3 years. Three weeks paid vacation after 10 years.
