Job Description
Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid) \| Full-Time \| $54,600 - $77,300
About the Role
A digital learning and innovation unit within a major public research university is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution and operations of its online program's social media channels. This is an operations-focused role on the marketing team, responsible for keeping publishing workflows running smoothly, managing content calendars, coordinating assets and approvals, and ensuring content goes out accurately and on schedule across platforms.
The coordinator will work closely with the social media, creative, and content teams to traffic assets, conduct quality checks, support campaign and event activity, and track published content for performance reporting. This is less about creating strategy and more about executing it with precision: scheduling, posting, version control, documentation, and cross-team coordination.
A strong fit for someone who thrives on structure, organization, and detail, and who wants to contribute to mission-driven work in higher education. This is a hybrid position based at the organization's Scottsdale innovation center. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
