Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling \& Forecasting:

Develop and maintain complex financial models for annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning.

  • Variance Analysis:

Investigate differences between actual financial results and planned/forecasted figures, providing actionable insights.

  • Reporting \& Presentation:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Business Partnership:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and support strategic initiatives.

  • Process Improvement:

Automate data preparation and refine existing FP\&A processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • KPI Tracking:

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in corporate FP\&A.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning tools preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Experience in the real estate industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with process automation and data visualization tools.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • MBA or CPA designation is a plus.
  • Continuing education in financial analysis or related fields preferred.
  • Strong academic foundation in financial principles and modeling.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
