Job Description

Senior Autonomy \& Robotics Engineer — Arizona

Some autonomy engineers spend their time writing code that never leaves a lab. You don't want that, do you?

You want your work on real hardware, in real environments, where it either works or it doesn't. If that's what's been missing, right?

What does the company do?

Autonomous unmanned vehicles for defence, mining, and perhaps one day even off-world operations. Small team. Already in production with military customers. Now raising to scale, and hiring the engineers who'll shape what these platforms can do next.

What will you do?

  • Owning autonomy end-to-end. From algorithm to field deployment. Navigation, perception, planning, and control on real UxVs.
  • Building swarm and multi-agent behaviours that hold up when comms degrade and conditions get difficult.
  • You'll be on the ground during tests, debugging in real time, and feeding what you learn straight back into the codebase.

What experience will you need?

  • Probably 5\+ years delivering autonomy to real robotic hardware.
  • Strong C\+\+ and/or Python in production robotics codebases.
  • Deep ROS/ROS2 experience on real robots.
  • Comfortable with motion planning, sensor fusion, and multi-robot coordination.
  • Experience on NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded platforms is a plus.
  • (Defence or contested-environment experience welcome, but not required.)

Why now?

If you join at this stage, you're early enough to shape the architecture and the culture, not just execute someone else's decisions.
