Machine Learning Manager, Notifications Relevance

For our client, we are seeking a Machine Learning Manager Notifications Relevance to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead initiatives at the intersection of scalable technology, AI-enabled capabilities, and business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and long-term innovation within a Media environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $230,000 – $322,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of notifications relevance at the company
• Guide the team on adaptive systems for optimization and ranking
• Collaborate with ML engineers to implement and optimize personalization models
• Participate in the full development cycle from design to deployment
• Build and maintain a diverse, collaborative team
• Align team goals with company objectives and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Identify career goals for engineers and promote their development

Qualifications

• 2\+ years experience in engineering team leadership
• 5\+ years as a Machine Learning or Software Engineer on large-scale ML systems
• Deep understanding of large-scale recommender systems deployment
• Hands-on experience with deep learning and real-time systems
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning and multi-objective optimization
