GST is seeking a skilled

AV Control System Programmer

who is passionate about creating intuitive, high‑performing AV solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy control system code, user interfaces, DSP configurations, and integrated AV solutions used by enterprise clients, educational institutions, and government partners.

⭐ What You'll Do

• Interpret detailed AV system drawings and project documentation
• Gather and document system programming requirements
• Design control systems and participate in AV system design reviews
• Develop custom modules, interfaces, and system integrations
• Establish and maintain technical standards, workflows, and documentation
• Provide programming expertise and guidance to project teams
• Program control systems and user interfaces based on project goals
• Install and deploy control programs on‑site, off‑site, or remotely
• Conduct system commissioning, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting
• Support manufacturers and customers with technical issue resolution
• Travel to client job sites as needed
• Use test and calibration equipment proficiently
• Program using AV and embedded system languages
• Upload and download software to embedded systems
• Design and program systems using Crestron, AMX, and Extron platforms
• Perform DSP programming and audio configuration
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and partners

Qualifications

• Experience with AV control systems, video conferencing platforms, switching hardware, and DSP setup/calibration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 3 years of Crestron or AMX control system programming
• Required certifications:

+ Harman Certified Control Professional (C‑P)

+ Extron GC‑Pro

+ Crestron and AMX programming certifications

• Preferred certification: CTS or CTS‑D
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
