Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Data Engineer

with strong expertise in

AWS, Power BI, data transformation, and data modeling

, along with hands-on experience in

MSBI and SSIS

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable

data pipelines

using

AWS services

• Perform complex

data transformation and integration

from multiple source systems

• Develop and maintain

data models

to support reporting and analytics use cases

• Build, optimize, and manage

ETL/ELT workflows

using

MSBI SSIS

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Develop and support

Power BI dashboards and reports

, ensuring performance and accuracy

• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance where required
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice implementation

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• 8\+ years of overall IT experience

with a strong focus on data engineering

• Hands-on experience with

AWS

(e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Athena, etc.)

• Strong expertise in

Power BI

, including DAX and performance tuning

• Solid experience in

data transformation and data modeling

(dimensional and relational models)

• Extensive experience with

MSBI stack

, especially

SSIS

• Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of database concepts
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and performance optimization
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
• Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data processing
• Experience in cloud migration or modernization projects
• Certification in AWS or Power BI
