Role Description

The Professional Photographer is a full-time, remote role responsible for planning, shooting, and delivering high-quality images for various assignments such as portraits, products, events, and editorial content. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating with clients or internal teams to understand project requirements, preparing shot lists and mood boards, and setting up lighting, backdrops, and equipment for on-site or location-based shoots. The role involves capturing images, reviewing and selecting the best shots, performing post-processing and retouching using industry-standard software, and ensuring timely delivery of final files in the required format. The photographer will maintain organized digital archives, follow branding and style guidelines, and collaborate with creative, marketing, or production teams to support campaigns and visual projects. This position also requires maintaining equipment, staying current with photography trends and techniques, and managing schedules and deadlines in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in digital photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and camera operation.
• Experience with post-processing and retouching using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent software.
• Ability to plan and execute shoots, including location scouting, shot list creation, and coordination with clients or team members.
• Competence in managing digital assets, organizing photo libraries, and preparing files for web, print, and social media use.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work remotely and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and commitment to delivering polished, client-ready work.
• Prior experience in professional photography (e.g., portrait, product, event, or commercial) is highly beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in photography, visual arts, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent experience is also valued.
• Reliable equipment setup (camera, lenses, lighting, and a stable internet connection) suitable for professional work.
