Job Description
The Contractor shall:
- Strategic Planning and Management: The contractor team shall provide strategic direction for all R\&A Branch digital marketing efforts, including developing social media and email marketing strategies, and conducting market research.
- Content Creation and Media Production: The contractor team shall be responsible for all copywriting and written content creation for R\&A Branch initiatives. This includes,
but is not limited to, the development of text for advertisements, social media posts, email campaigns, web pages, and recruiting scripts. This responsibility is in addition to the hands-on design and production of digital and physical brand assets (e.g., promotional merchandise, displays, and briefs) and all media production duties, to include still photography and video post-production. • Digital Platform Management: The contractor team shall manage the R\&A Branch recruiting website and all R\&A social media platforms.
- Analytics and Optimization: The contractor team shall execute and optimize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and advertising campaigns. The team will utilize standard web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), social media intelligence platforms (e.g., Sprout Social), and any successor systems adopted by the Government, to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance.
- Collaboration and Approval: All strategic communications, brand assets, and public-facing content must be approved by the R\&A Branch Director prior to publication or distribution.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field; OR in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma with an additional four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in strategic communications and digital marketing, with demonstrated experience in SEO and SEM.
- Demonstrated excellence in professional copywriting and content creation for digital and print channels, including advertising, social media, and long-form web content.
- Experience designing and creating HTML email templates for use within a CRM system.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles for web design.
- Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud applications and managing content within a Content Management System (CMS).
- A portfolio of relevant work is required, which must include multiple examples of professional copywriting.
