Vice President of Accounting / Corporate Controller

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic

Vice President of Accounting / Corporate Controller

to lead enterprise-wide accounting operations within a complex, multi-entity organization. This executive will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving operational excellence across a matrixed structure.

This is a high-impact leadership role partnering closely with senior finance leadership and executive stakeholders to support business performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities
• Oversee internal and external financial reporting in accordance with applicable standards
• Manage technical accounting matters and ensure full compliance with GAAP
• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls and governance frameworks
• Oversee audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors
• Partner cross-functionally with FP\&A, treasury, and operations teams
• Build and scale accounting systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting organization

Qualifications

• 15\+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• Prior experience as a Corporate Controller, VP of Accounting, or similar senior leadership role
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
• Proven experience managing internal controls and audit processes
• Background in Big 4 accounting firms strongly preferred
• Experience with SEC reporting and/or private equity-backed environments preferred
• CPA designation required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required

Compensation \& Benefits

• Base Salary:

$200,000 – $325,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
