Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to support application development and business process improvement initiatives. The role involves gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements while ensuring successful communication and implementation of business solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and process analysis skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Requirements \& Analysis
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Lead business requirements definition and validation meetings.
- Analyze business needs and assess the impact of proposed changes.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and user requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Identify solution alternatives and recommend optimal approaches.
Documentation \& Process Modeling
- Develop and maintain:
+ Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
+ Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
+ Use Cases
+ Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM)
+ Business Rules Documentation
+ Process Flow Diagrams
+ Data Definitions
- Create business process maps using Microsoft Visio.
- Develop wireframes and workflow diagrams for proposed solutions.
- Document business processes and system requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Lead stakeholder workshops and requirement review sessions.
- Negotiate requirements among multiple stakeholder groups.
- Support cross-functional teams throughout project delivery.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
Solution Design Support
- Facilitate design sessions with technical and implementation teams.
- Support system design activities including:
+ Business Rules Definition
+ Data Migration Rules
+ Wireframes
+ Workflow Design
+ Functional Specifications
- Identify and document new data entry components and system requirements.
- Ensure requirements are accurately reflected in system designs.
Business Process Improvement
- Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support business process redesign initiatives.
- Develop recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with organizational change initiatives related to system implementations.
