Job Summary

A prominent manufacturing plant in the Jessup, MD area is seeking a Chemist to lead a foam production line. The position is very hands-on. The successful candidate will use their technical and mechanical skills to assist in the manufacturing process. Understanding of chemical formulations and cause and effect and chemistry is a plus. This is a high-priority search, salaried in the $80K\+ range!

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the mechanical and technical aspects of polyurethane foam chemistry and manufacturing to be able to manipulate formulations during production
• Interfacing with multiple departments to understand project goals and performance requirements
• Lead the foam manufacturing line
